Associate Therapists under Supervision

In the process of becoming a licensed therapist, a candidate finishes two years of graduate school and accumulates 3,000 hours of clinical work as an “associate” before sitting for their licensing exams. I currently provide supervision for associate level-therapists, which has been an extraordinary experience for me over the years. The people I’ve had the honor of supporting are excellent clinicians. Over time, as a team, we’ve developed a clear philosophy. We offer space to question, pivot, and breathe. We discuss our client cases with the utmost respect, abiding by the laws of confidentiality, bringing diverse points of views to each case. That being said, there are strong positions securely in place, for example: we are all actively anti racist, and allied with or belonging to the queer community. If you choose to work with one of our beloved associates, you will also benefit from the expertise of six other therapists who will enthusiastically track your progress, hold space for your struggles, and support your clinician as she supports you. It’s a powerful part of this field. Please enjoy exploring these humans below!

Availability varies. An initial 30 minute consultation session is free of cost. 50 minute sessions thereafter are $125. Also, our associates are in network with Aetna and Cigna.

Therapy is a space for you to be your most authentic self. I use a collaborative and respectful approach in my practice. Together, we will focus on your strengths to help you navigate life’s challenges. My intention is to create an inclusive, welcoming, individualized, culturally sensitive and supportive environment for my clients.

There are different challenges that we face as individuals, couples, and families all throughout our lives and I am ready to support you in navigating through them. I recognize the importance of healthy communication and enhancing my clients ability to be empathetic in their communication. The majority of my practice focuses on children and teenagers with Autism, Parent-child Relationships, Co-parenting, and medical trauma in children.

I earned my Master’s of Arts in Psychology, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Global (formerly Brandman University).

Let’s get your journey started together, we’ll talk soon!

I view the role of therapy as learning to look at yourself and the world through a lens of curiosity. We'll create a space where you can sit alongside your emotions as they surface, while tuning into the wisdom of your body in real time. It's through this process that stories are unearthed and we can begin the work of self-discovery, healing, and transformation.

I earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2023 and I'm based in Los Angeles, California. My areas of expertise lie in the mind/body connection, music and movement, and somatic experiencing. As a neurodivergent LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist, I'm committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals of all identities and orientations.

I am a 33-year-old non-binary trans-masc individual of Lebanese descent. My background as a professional musician and songwriter has shaped my appreciation for the power of creative expression in healing and self-discovery. I look forward to helping clients establish practices for introspection that can offer insight and comfort. I find inspiration in nature, cherishing my morning coffee ritual and long walks as opportunities for reflection and gratitude.

Building, expanding, and healing a family takes time, work, and support. Maybe you’ve never seen the life, the relationship, the family, or the parenting style that you are trying to create, or maybe something is actively holding you back and your current patterns are leaving you feeling stuck. I am here to support individuals, couples, and families in accessing the tools to get through this. Your entire life has lead you to this very moment, and we may need to take a deeper look at what your younger self would need to be able to figure out what you need today.

Through a direct relational approach and empathy development, we will explore what may be triggered by your romantic relationship or the barriers between your mother/daughter relationship so that you may love and connect with more compassion and understanding. Through mindfulness, we will hold space for your anticipation of bringing your little one into the world and your ever changing experience through pregnancy. Through body awareness and building an intentional self care practice, we will navigate the necessary care and support needed through your postpartum journey. With additional resources, our postpartum work can provide specific support through the hurdles that may arise with breastfeeding (which includes pumping and combination feeding!), if that is a part of your journey. Through an integrative and holistic approach, we will work through the everydays of parenting and preparing to be a parent. With a keen focus on the emotional experience of each family member, we can work through the unique and dynamic intricacies of blending families.

My direct and relational, somatic and trauma-informed approach is mindful and emotion and attachment based. The goal is to support you with taking a step out of your head, and back into your body, so that you can enjoy your present moment with more grace, joy, and gratitude. The life you deserve is right there; let’s get curious, compassionate, and intentional together.

Hi. I am so proud of the person I have become, and the skill set I have built. I would be honored to walk with you on this path of self exploration.

For over 10 years I have studied and become adept in the methods of: play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, psychodynamic therapy, inner child work, astrology, postmodern psychology, and the multiracial experience. Supported by my training, I am confident in saying, “nothing is too big or too small for us to process and journey together”.

My approach is warm, compassionate and structured. Together we will discover new and old truths about yourself. If you’ve not done it before, I cannot wait for you to experience how exciting and rewarding therapy is.

Together, we will build an authentic, trusting connection where it is safe to unmask the parts of ourselves we normally hide. When someone seeks therapy, they are looking to feel seen, understood, and heard. Through our relationship, we will nurture the parts of ourselves that feel neglected.

The relationship we have with ourselves is the foundation for all other aspects of our lives. My work focuses on nurturing that relationship to deepen fulfillment, practice self alignment, and feel more intimately connected with ourselves and others.

I approach therapy with curiosity, appreciation, and humility. I use a holistic approach, considering a person's mind, body, and spirit. Our therapeutic relationship is bidirectional; we learn from each other and grow from our work together. Sessions may not always be pretty, or perfect, but they will be honest.

Are you ready to become comfortable with being uncomfortable? Schedule your free 30 minute consultation! I look forward to connecting with you!

For me, therapy is a dance between expression and action. My approach with clients is direct, clear, and no-nonsense. Holding space for clients to express themselves is of utmost importance, and as a therapist it is a priority that clients leave sessions equipped with tools and skills to strengthen the challenges uniquely presented to them.

With over 5 years of direct client experience, I approach my sessions through a trauma-informed lens and I am DBT-trained and certified.

I work with individuals weighed down by depression, those navigating anxiety/performance pressure–specifically in the arts, challenges presented to first/second generation Americans, and those navigating new transitions (e.g. new relationships, parenthood, divorce, new career/location change).

My life experiences– growing up as the child of immigrants, my work as a professional musician, and now as a psychotherapist– have strengthened the idea that a comprehensive grasp of ourselves allows us to gain a better understanding of how we fit into our ever-changing and challenging world. I look forward to starting this process with you.

Serving individuals in the state of California via telehealth and in person in Los Angeles.
